Josh Thompson

Manager Of Corporate Online Services

Hilton Garden Inn

Josh Thompson created and implemented a new social media strategy for Hilton Garden Inn that helped increase the hotel brand’s Facebook and Twitter followers by 1,000 percent within the first 6 months.  He also helped launch a redesigned HHonors global web site and Travel Planner as well as the iPhone apps for Hilton Worldwide.  Key to these great launches are the relationships Josh manages with the third party vendors and agency partners who help further Hilton Garden Inn and Hilton Worldwide’s online and social strategies.  Another key to Josh’s success as the chief social media strategist for Hilton Garden Inn is that he’s able to make even the most mundane activity into an engaging Facebook/Twitter post.  Josh has prior experience in customer service, web site development, online banking and marketing at First Tennessee and National Bank of Commerce.  In his spare time, he’s a father to four boys, a youth soccer and basketball coach, and a die-hard Memphis Tigers fan.
